This type of statue is the largest among the Igbo. Indeed it is one of pieces devoted to Igbo gods, placed on the altar where they received offerings. They were out and presented in long processions through the village during the most important ceremonies of worship Igbo.
This piece is quite typical, there is a very special position of the hands of these statues, large scars and equipment, a hair comb and a representative form of the cheeks quite characteristic.
